Israeli - Belgian mezzo soprano Anat Czarny is a soloist at the Israeli opera. She graduated from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at the Tel-Aviv University.
At the Israeli Opera, where she sings regularly she preformed the roles of Dorabella in Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, Hermia in Breitten's a midsummer night's dream conducted by Maestro Daniel Cohen, Zerlina in Don Giovanni conducted by Maestro Daniel Oren and Directed by Kasper Holten and Dido in Dido and Aeneas and many more.
She performed as a soloist with all the major orchesras in Israel including the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphonic orchestra and many more.
Anat was a Finalist in the Cesti Baroque Opera Competition in 2015 and is a recipient of the Berkovic, Besser and IVAI scholarships.
Anat is the recipient of the Rosenblum Prize for performing arts for the year 2022 in the promising achievements artist category.
Anat was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire included Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Angelina in La Cenerentola (Rossini) and other roles. At the Israeli Opera she performed as Gianetta in L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti), Tisbe in La Cenerntola (Rossini), Stephano in Romeo et Juliette (Gounod), Dido in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell) and many more. Anat made her European debut with the role of Le prince charmant in Cendrillon (Massenet) in Freiburg in 2017. She sang the role of Siebel in Gounod's Faust in Theater St. Gallen in 2020 and the role of Dryade in Ariadne auf Naxos by Staruss an Salzburg landestheater in 2021.
